Todo el dinero recolectado se destinará a la compra de regalos y la planeación de actividades para brindarles una celebración inolvidable. DESCRIPTION:The IEEE Day 2025 (Day 4) celebration features a full-day program dedicated to innovation\, design\, and professional development.  The morning session begins with an engaging UI/UX Master Class led by Jesús Trujillo\, Daniel Martínez\, and Andrés Lopera—professionals recognized for their expertise in interface design\, software development\, and user-centered engineering. This session will guide participants through key design principles\, emphasizing creativity\, usability\, and modern approaches to user experience.  Following the workshop\, participants will engage in a Mockup Competition\, where teams will develop and present innovative proposals inspired by the morning session. The competition encourages teamwork\, design thinking\, and technical precision\, promoting collaboration among students and professionals.  A networking lunch will follow\, offering a valuable opportunity for speakers\, judges\, and participants to share experiences\, exchange insights\, and strengthen professional connections within the IEEE community.  In the afternoon\, the focus shifts to the “Women in Tech” guest panel\, titled “Women in Engineering: Professional and Career Perspectives.” The panel features Luna Julio (Systems Engineering student and Backend Developer)\, Nicolle Antequera Rocha (Electronic Engineer and MSc student at Politecnico di Milano)\, and Merlys Solórzano Mendoza (Talent Acquisition Specialist and HR leader in tech). Each panelist will share personal trajectories\, career strategies\, and perspectives on advancing women’s participation in engineering and technology. On October 17\, we will celebrate this special date at the University of Cauca\, in a day full of innovation\, collaboration\, and passion for technology. In the morning\, we will hold an academic forum with special guests\, who will share their experiences and reflections on soft skills: leadership\, communication\, and teamwork\, essential competencies for the professional growth of every engineer.  In the afternoon\, we will enjoy a great scavenger hunt at the CDU\, a space designed to strengthen the IEEE community through fun\, cooperation\, and competitive spirit. 🏃‍♀💪  []  Speaker(s): Daniel Gomez\, Jorge Vargas\, Juan David Hoyos\, Viyils Sangregorio\, Oscar Calderon  Agenda:  The IEEE Day 2025 at the University of Cauca was organized by the IEEE Unicauca Student Branch\, bringing together innovation\, teamwork\, and the spirit of engineering.  On Friday\, October 17th\, the celebration began with the Academic Forum “Soft Skills and Professional Experiences”\, held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Faculty of Accounting Auditorium. The morning session opened with registration and a welcoming video about IEEE\, followed by the introduction of the master of ceremonies and the invited speakers. During the forum\, professionals and student leaders shared their insights on leadership\, communication\, and teamwork—key skills for success in the professional world. The audience also participated in an interactive Q&A session and enjoyed sponsor giveaways before closing with words of appreciation and recognition.  In the afternoon\, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.\, the celebration continued with the “Technology and Innovation Stations” Yincana at the University Sports Center (CDU). Participants registered and gathered for an explanation of the dynamics before diving into six exciting stations designed to foster collaboration\, problem-solving\, and creativity. The event also included refreshments\, sports activities\, and a closing award ceremony to recognize the top-performing teams.
