SUMMARY:WIE Colombia Anniversary 2026: Engineering in Action
DESCRIPTION:As part of the celebration of the anniversary of IEEE Women in Engineering (WIE) Colombia\, this event will bring together at ISA (Company) in Medellín a diverse group of students\, young professionals\, researchers\, academics\, and industry representatives from different regions of the country for a day of learning\, leadership\, and professional development. The event aims to highlight the contributions of women in STEM and strengthen collaboration among academia\, industry\, and professional communities.  Through keynote talks\, panel discussions\, networking activities\, and a technical visit\, participants will have the opportunity to engage with leaders who are driving innovation and transformation in engineering\, technology\, and sustainable development. Special emphasis will be placed on the role of engineering as a tool to address global challenges outlined by the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)\, particularly in areas such as quality education\, gender equality\, affordable and clean energy\, innovation and infrastructure\, and sustainable cities and communities.
