    The IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society Colombia Chapter, with the support of the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Universidad Nacional de Colombia, will host the Colombia Workshop 2026: Antennas and Propagation. This academic event will bring together students, researchers, faculty members, and professionals interested in antennas, propagation, applied electromagnetics, microwave engineering, antenna design, antenna measurements, radio propagation, and related IEEE AP-S topics. The morning session will feature keynote talks by Prof. Mauro Ettorre and Prof. Luis Jofre, together with additional invited academic presentations. The program will also include a coffee break and lunch. In the afternoon, the workshop will include a student poster session starting at 2:00 p.m. Undergraduate and graduate students interested in presenting a poster must complete the registration form and submit a short abstract for review by the organizing committee. A limited number of posters will be selected for presentation. The poster session is intended for academic discussion, feedback, and networking only.     "Mujeres que Transforman la Ingeniería" es un evento organizado por el Grupo de Afinidad IEEE WIE de la Universidad del Magdalena, en alianza con IEEE Women in Engineering Colombia/Caribe, a realizarse el 2 de octubre de 2026 en la Facultad de Ingeniería. La actividad busca conectar, apoyar e inspirar a las mujeres y niñas de la comunidad universitaria en su vocación hacia la ingeniería, fortaleciendo su captación y retención en carreras STEM. El evento inicia con una charla especializada de la psicóloga Yeimi Polo sobre el síndrome del impostor, un fenómeno que afecta de manera desproporcionada a las mujeres en campos técnicos y científicos, brindando herramientas prácticas para reconocerlo y manejarlo. A continuación, se desarrolla un panel titulado "Mujeres que transforman la ingeniería: liderazgo, ciencia y propósito para construir el futuro", en el que participan la decana de la Facultad de Ingeniería y las directoras académicas de los programas de Ingeniería Civil, de Sistemas, Electrónica, Marino Costera y Pesquera. El panel recorre un hilo conductor cronológico que va desde la etapa previa a elegir su carrera, pasando por su experiencia como estudiantes y su trayectoria laboral, hasta su proceso de llegar a ocupar cargos de liderazgo institucional y su visión sobre el futuro de la ingeniería en Colombia y el Caribe. Con este formato, la actividad visibiliza referentes reales de liderazgo femenino en ingeniería ante estudiantes de la Facultad, fomentando la innovación tecnológica y la excelencia en beneficio de la comunidad. El evento cierra con un espacio de preguntas del público y un mensaje final que conecta a las asistentes con las demás actividades del semestre del capítulo WIE. Se espera que el evento tenga un impacto significativo en la comunidad estudiantil, fortaleciendo el sentido de pertenencia de las mujeres en la Facultad de Ingeniería y motivando a más niñas y jóvenes a considerar carreras STEM.
