🦊📡 IEEE AP-S Fox Hunt Challenge 2026🔎 How it works - Design and use your own antenna system. - A hidden transmitter (“fox”) will be placed in the competition area. - Using RTL-SDR receivers, teams will track the signal, estimate direction, and locate the transmitter. 👥 Who can participate - Free registration. - Exclusive to active IEEE AP-S members. - Undergraduate students and above are welcome. - Teams of 2–3 participants (all must have active IEEE + AP-S membership). 🎓 Free training included - Workshop 1 (JUL/07/2026): Basic antenna concepts and VNA measurements (impedance, VSWR, bandwidth). - Workshop 2 (JUL/08/2026): RTL-SDR for signal acquisition and demodulation (receiver setup, spectrum visualization, basic demodulation). 🏆 Awards - 1st Place: NanoVNA V2 Kit (50 kHz–3 GHz) - 2nd Place: NanoVNA-H Kit (9 kHz–1.5 GHz) - 3rd Place: RTL-SDR Blog V3 RTL2832U SMA 📅 Registration open From JUN/12/2026 to JUL/08/2026. ⚠️ WARNING: All registered participants will be manually verified as active AP-S members, and a confirmation of registration will be sent to their email.
